It restricts entrepreneurs’ operations (due to the prohibition of competition restricting agreements and the prohibition on abuse of a dominant position) and may impede its expansion (concentration control). Once broken may result in severe financial consequences, including a fine up to 10% of an entrepreneur’s turnover. For these reasons a skillful management of the area of compliance with competition law is of a great importance.
